The Cascina Ghercina stands in a particular area, with a little lake that offers an exclusive microclimate, very important for the nine hectares vineyards. This is a natural amphitheatre and the wine cellar was built respecting the environment and the landscape. Besides Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo vineyards, here is also cultivated the “Nascetta”. This is a white vineyard that comes from Novello, a rarity presented only in selected areas of the region. This vineyard gives an excellent white wine. The first production will be only in 2010.
